Demand may also rise as health care providers emphasize exercise and preventive care to help patients recover from disease and improve overall health.

As a student in Madonna’s Exercise and Sport Science, you will acquire the knowledge and experience to assess fitness levels using valid instruments, assess basic nutritional needs, and describe anatomical structures and functions. You will learn about the physiological and psychological effects of exercise on the body. When you complete this program, you will be able to describe and demonstrate multiple ways to train the body for fitness, including cardio, strength and endurance training, flexibility and body composition.

You will complete 43 credit hours of study related to this major and 23 credit hours of study related to this minor.
